April 2nd Meeting, UT/St. Ed’s Race

UT Cycling will hold our next club meeting on Wednesday, April 2nd at 8:00PM in CPE 2.214. We’ll be talking about our race and many other important topics.

St. Ed’s and UT Cycling will be combining forces to host the 2008 UT/St. Ed’s Race weekend on the weekend of April 5th-6th. More info can be found in the flier here. See you there!

February Meeting

Texas Cycling will be meeting for the next time on February 20th! The meeting will be held in room CPE 2.214 at 8:00PM.

Be sure you’re there! We will covering important new information about racing this Spring, as well as introducing some exciting new sponsorship information!

Spring Semester

The spring semester starts up soon, and the Texas Cycling team is already hard at work at training camp, getting ready for the spring 2008 racing season!

If you are interested in joining Texas Cycling, but haven’t had a chance yet, our first meeting of the semester will be 2008-01-28 at 8:00PM in CPE 2.214! We’ll recap training camp, and talk about the first race of the season at the Tour of New Braunfels! Make sure to be there!

Thanks to all Texas Cycling members for another great semester! Please remember, your kit sizing must be turned in by this Thursday! Also, if you would like to continue receiving the training plans, your dues must first be payed! Contact an officer to get these in ASAP! Finally, if you plan on attending training camp, you need to sign-up and pay by the end of the week.

Sweatin’ Burnt Orange Bike Tour

Many thanks to everyone who came out to today’s Sweatin’ Burnt Orange Bike Tour! The event was a great success, and drew a record crowd to its third edition! A huge thanks go out to all of the Texas Cycling volunteers, who came out in record numbers to help make the event a great success!

October 8th Meeting

We’ll be holding our next meeting on October 8th (this coming Monday) at 8PM in room CPE 2.214. We’ll be talking about the next weekend’s very beginner/roadie friendly Mountain Bike race, where we’d like to get lots of people to come try racing! We’ll also be scheduling road rides, talking about off-season training, and more.

Pizza Meeting

UT Cycling will be having our first pizza meeting of the year this coming Tuesday, 9/25 at 8:00PM. The meeting will be held at Austin’s Pizza on Guadalupe. The meeting is informal, and you’ll have plenty of time to do the Tuesday ‘Nighter and still make it to the meeting. We’ll also be taking dues at this meeting, so come get those turned in!
