The 4th Annual Sweatin’ Burnt Orange Bike Tour

If you missed pre-registration, you can still register for our ride!. Late registration is available online until midnight Friday, October 31st, during packet pickup, or at the ride itself beginning at 7:00 am.

Packet Pickup: Held at Bicycle Sport Shop central location on S. Lamar Friday October 31 & Saturday November 1. Times TBD. Registration available for $45. Click here for a map.

Day-of Registration: You can also register starting at 7:00 am at the Blanco High School. Day-of registration closes at 8:00 am. Cost is $45.

About the Ride

In its fourth year, the Sweatin’ Burnt Orange Bike Tour has established itself as the primary fund raising event for University of Texas Cycling. As both a student organization and competitive sports team, the club seeks to promote the sport of cycling on campus and facilitate rider development. Our team competes at the division I regional and national levels, the highest levels achievable for collegiate cyclists, and provides an introduction to bike racing for many students. Our club also stays involved in the community through bike safety clinics and charity events.

The Sweatin’ Burnt Orange Bike Tour will again include routes from 10 to 80 miles weaving through the Texas Hill Country. The 80 mile route includes a stop in the famous Luckenbach Texas and all routes feature challenging hills and beautiful vistas. It’s an incredible Texas riding experience that’ll leave you Sweatin’ Burnt Orange!

  • Download mail-in registration forms
  • Registration forms are also available at most Austin and San Antonio area bike shops.
  • Mail-in registrations must be postmarked by October 22nd.
  • Online pre-registration closes at midnight on Thursday October 30th. Online late registration will be available Friday, October 31st until midnight
  • All participants who pre-register receive a Sweatin’ Burnt Orange Bike Tour T-shirt.
  • Packet pickup on Friday October 31st and Saturday November 1st, times TBD, at the Bicycle Sport Shop central location on South Lamar. Click here for a map.
  • Ride Day registration and packet pickup from 7:00 to 8:00 AM the morning of the ride.
